Travis Cooper — Interview - Strangers & Pilgrims

Travis Cooper — Interview

Recently we had the privilege of interviewing Travis Cooper for the upcoming release of the Strangers & Pilgrims x Travis Cooper Collection. It’s been a privilege to work together with a man who loves Jesus, his family and design. Collection is available via our Online Store.

“I believe God uses his own design to impact lives.”

Who are you and where are you based?

I’m Travis Cooper and I currently reside in Laurel, Mississippi, USA.

What are your passions?

Graphic design is a big one, but I love spending time with my family, music, movies and pop culture too.

Who are your design inspirations?

Allen Peters for his branding work, Adam Grason for his illustration work, and Mike McQuade for his use of color and mixed media.

How do you believe God can use design to impact peoples’ lives?

I believe God uses his own design to impact lives. Just look at the perfect way humans are created, or the way the earth is positioned on an axis and at the exact distance from the sun for life to be sustainable. He spoke it into existence just so.

Why do you wake up each morning?

To hear my son’s giggle and field a million wonderful questions by my 5 year old daughter more than anything. They’re my world.
