Even though I’m recommending these books, the Bible is still the greatest book and final authority of doctrine and truth. With that said, over the years of being a Christian I’ve read books apart from the Bible, that have shaped my life and inspired me to believe God for greater things in my life. Apostle of Faith — Smith Wigglesworth
My dad gave me this book to read when I first got saved. It absolutely blew my mind! Reading of the miracles, stories and testimonies of Smith Wigglesworth’s life absolutely challenged me and convicted me to believe God for greater things in my own life. I am reading this book again as it still stirs my faith. Definitely grab a copy.

I was overwhelmed by the love of God through Rolland & Heidi Baker’s lives, countless times while reading this book. We must pursue love as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 14:1 and it is a clear central focus of this book.

The Practice of the Presence of God — Brother Lawrence
If you want to develop a deeper awareness of God’s presence, this is a must read. It is a small book but very rich with revelation and clear directions on practicing conversation with God and being aware of His presence at all times. Blessed by this book and would recommend to anyone wanting to grow in communion with the Lord.
